NZCF-Auckland is one of ten regional organisations that make up the New Zealand Choral Federation Inc. 

The other nine regions are:

- NZCF Bay of Plenty

- NZCF Otago

- NZCF Taranaki

- NZCF Manawatu-Wanganui

- NZCF Canterbury-West Coast

- NZCF Southland

- NZCF Wellington

- NZCF East Coast

- NZCF Waikato

NZCF-Auckland sends a representative to meetings of the national organisation - all the representatives constitute the National Executive that runs NZCF and that appoints the president.  Currently, our representative is our Chairman, Leonie Lawson.

The New Zealand Choral Federation started in 1985.  Its members are choirs and individuals with an interest in choral singing. 

The NZCF runs a "family" of national events:

- THE KIDS SING - NZCF Young Voices Group Singing Awards

- THE BIG SING - NZCF Secondary Schools Choral Festivals

- THE CLASSIC SING - NZCF Community Group Singing Awards

- SING AOTEAROA - NZCF Triennial National Group Singing Festival.

NZCF-Auckland is administered by a committee that is elected by the region's members and that meets approximately monthly.
