Why You Should Use New Zealand Travel Agents to Book Your Holiday

Travelling to New Zealand is an exciting venture; from the top of the North Island through to the South Island and onto Stewart Island there are many sights to see and different experiences to enjoy. In order to get the best out of your holiday to the ‘Long White Cloud’ you need to find a travel agent that not only can share their personal experiences with you, but also share your enthusiasm for travel. By doing this you can be assured that you are going to get the vacation that is right for you.

If you are travelling from a foreign country to New Zealand, you may find that many of the travel agents you come across don’t have a broad range of experience with NZ vacations. You are therefore provided with options of package holidays which many other people have enjoyed before you, but perhaps are not personalised to your needs specifically. Working with New Zealand travel agents, provides a solution to this problem; they are based in the country which you wish to visit, and can therefore offer you the best advice on the opportunities you are seeking.

Many people do book their own holidays online nowadays, however this option often isn’t always the best in terms of getting the most out of your stay. If you haven’t visited NZ before you can often lose track of distances between one city / town and another and therefore try to squeeze too many sights and attractions into one day. New Zealand travel agents can assist you to get the best experiences possible, by asking where and what it is that you wish to visit and then help you to compile a suitable itinerary which meets your requirements. They will also be able to offer suggestions of activities or locations for example, which may be of interest to you, but which you might not have been aware of.

A travel agent’s job shouldn’t just stop once you have booked your trip, you want ongoing support should you need further advice on accommodation or transport for instance, whilst away from home. The beauty of using a New Zealand travel agent for your holiday there, is that not only are you in the same timezone & therefore don’t have to wait until ‘business hours’ (which are most likely going to be untimely for you) to call your travel agent back home but because of their knowledge and contacts, they will be able to assist you straight away.

Look for a New Zealand travel agent for your holiday in NZ today!

New Zealand Travel Showcase

As the last discovered land mass, New Zealand is our youngest country.

From the sub-tropical Northland, to the wilds of Otago and Southland, Aotearoa (New Zealand) has something for all travellers.

Because of it’s relatively small size, for the lucky traveller to New Zealand, it is possible to travel from west coast to east coast on the same day, passing from coastal heathland, through raging rivers, across alpine mountain passes, and back to spectacular coastal scenery.

Your best friend in New Zealand is your camera, and the sheer number of photo opportunities will take your breath away (yes it really is that amazing).

New Zealand is a country of diverse culture and history, and if one thing really stands out, it is the welcoming nature of the locals. Kiwis, as the locals are known, are warm and friendly, and your holiday will be made more enjoyable if you get to know some locals and immerse yourself in the rich Kiwi culture.

New Zealand offers visitors an incredible variety of scenery and climate. From rugged coastlines, to raging glacial rivers, to majestic snow-capped alps, and thermal wonderlands, New Zealand has something for everyone. Summers are warm and dry, and winters are often cold, with snow in many areas (making it a destination of choice for snow boarders and those wanting to ski New Zealand).

New Zealand also has a strong sporting heritage, with their most recognised sport being Rugby Union. The National team is known as the All Blacks are passionate about their team. Without fail, if you ask a Kiwi about rugby, they will talk for hours on the subject. The traditional Haka is always performed by the All Blacks before an international match, and is a real eye opener, as they lay down the “challenge” to their opponents. The New Zealand National Anthem is also proudly sung by locals and their team before all major sporting fixtures.

This really is a country with something for everyone.

New Zealand Travel

New Zealand is one of the ultimate travel destinations in the Southern Hemisphere, with something for just about anyone. New Zealand has everything, right from ski fields to volcanoes, from big cities to small towns and from beaches to mountains.

New Zealand currently has a population of just over 4 million people. Auckland is the biggest city with over 1.2 million people and the capital city Wellington has a population of around 400,000. Most of the country’s resident population is based in North Island and so, South Island offers the opportunity to get away from the busy cities and get up close and personal with the elements.

New Zealand offers a lot of activities, especially for the adventurous kind. You can bungee jump, ski and snow board, relax on the beach, go for a bike ride, take a 4 wheel drive adventure, ski dive, surf or simply, shop! Most adventurous activities are available in the South Island, whereas North Island offers the charm of the big cities, some great shopping as well as some uniquely New Zealand attractions, like the Maori village in Rotorua.

The best way to travel around New Zealand would be in a rental car. Most New Zealand cities are very well connected with the main motorways and traffic is usually not a problem. There are information centres in most tourist areas, providing useful travel information, maps etc.
